The Women's Library

The director of the National Collection, Antonia Byatt, issued the first of their three-monthly newsletters in December 2000. The Genesis mapping project, to identify women's history resources in the UK will be based here, involving over 35 libraries and archives in the UK.


Chawton House Library

Chawton House, the Elizabethan manor house that once belonged to Jane Austen's brother, is being renovated as part of a major international project to establish the Centre for the Study of Early English Women's Writing, 1600 - 1830.


Glasgow Women's Library
